Abreva Conceal
I must admit that since having a baby – my hair, skin and nails have all taken on a life of their own. And specifically in my pursuit to get my skin back to normal, or as close to normal as possible, I welcomed the opportunity to try Abreva Conceal which is a clear patch used to primarily protect cold sores, but can be used on blemishes. After witnessing congestion (a dense area of clogged pores) on my chin which lead to the formation of a pimple, I decided to find out for myself just how well I’d be able to conceal it.
The application of the patch is very easy and takes less than a minute. But, for best results you really need to follow the manufacturer’s directions and you must apply the clear patch to clean and dry skin. I love how the patch adheres to the skin effortlessly – so much so, that I almost forgot it was there! After covering the patch with a thin layer of concealer and topping if off with powder, I was ready to start my day. Yes, the application really is that easy.
I checked the patch throughout the day to make sure it would actually stay put – and to my surprise it did! Before bed and starting my nighttime skincare routine, I actually had to wet the area in order to remove it because it would not budge! So yes, I’m sold! It’s a must-have for dealing with those unexpected, annoying skin issues!
Abreva Conceal is a clean, non-medicated patch for cold sores that allows air in, yet protective enough to keep contaminants out.
