Hey Mischo Mavens! I am so happy, humbled and honored to join Rebecca Minkoff’s Female Founder Collective!

For those who may not know, the Female Founder Collective (FFC) is a network of businesses led by women, supporting women. The mission is to enable and empower female owned and led businesses to positively impact our communities, both socially and economically.

This is so important for many reasons -  and I’ll be the first to share that this journey hasn’t been easy - especially when it comes to funding!  According to Forbes, black women represent the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in America. However, current statistics reveal that we only receive about 0.2% of venture capital investments, with women overall receiving 2.5%. 

Working together to enact change is the mission of the FFC, and I’m grateful and excited to continue growing and lifting others up with an amazing group of women!
